What is a Friend of Fair Trade?
As a Friend you are part of an important worldwide movement aiming to alleviate poverty and creating a more just world through a fairer trade system. Your membership supports the Fair Trade Association to grow awareness of Fair Trade. As a Friend of Fair Trade, we will keep you informed of Fair Trade events and campaigns which you may wish to support or attend.
Why become a Friend of Fair Trade?
As a Friend of Fair Trade you receive a number of benefits.
Friends of Fair Trade are a community of people who understand the importance of Fair Trade and how it links our everyday consumer decisions to the lives of artisans, workers and farmers in developing countries. Grow your social justice knowledge of Fair Trade, participate in campaigns or just support local business members by buying their products. Some of the benefits include:
- Social media posts keep you up to date with forthcoming local Fair Trade events such as markets or campaigns such as Fair Trade Fortnight
- Receive a regular FTA newsletter full of information and updates from the global Fair Trade Movement
- Invitation to attend the Fair Trade Association's AGM as a non-voting member
- Participate in our Annual Fair Trade Conference

How do I become a Friend of Fair Trade?
To become a Friend of Fair Trade please fill out the form below and get in touch with the Association.
Friends of Fair Trade is open to individuals wishing to support and promote Fair Trade. If you own or work for a business or organisation that would like to get involved with Fair Trade, please see the Fair Trade Membership page. If you attend or work for a Faith Group, University, Council, School or other community group please see the Fair Trade Communities page.
Friend of Fair Trade Fees
The annual fee for Friends of Fair Trade is $35.00 per year.
