Throughout late 2004 and 2005, the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand ran an education project with funding from the Myer Foundation's Beyond Australia program and support from its member network.
As a result of this project, an education resource kit for teaching young people aged 10 - 13 about fair trade has been created and is available online at this website.
To access the Australian version of the kit, go here.
To access the New Zealand version of the kit, go here.
Our procurement activities focus on getting organisations - such as government and university departments, NGOs, and offices - to convert their coffee and tea to Fairtrade tea and coffee.
We have created a procurement guide for Australia and another for New Zealand. Go here to access them. If you want to be listed as a supplier, contact us.
Additionally, FTAANZ has created a Fair Trade Communities scheme - which provides a structured way to work towards and recognise workplaces as Fair Trade Workplaces. See here for more info.
As an additional resource, see the Australian Green Procurement Product Database at www.greenprocurement.org, an on-line green procurement product database showcasing a wide range of products and services available in Australia, along with meaningful and quantifiable evaluation of their environmental performance.
If you are selling fair trade products, you should list yourself in this database!

The FTAANZ recognises the importance of mobilising university students in support of fair trade on campuses and in the surrounding communities.
Student activism in support of fair trade has been vital to the growth of markets for fair trade products overseas and in educating citizens about fair trade and ethical consumption.
FTAANZ is currently pursuing this project through collaborating with and supporting Hooked, a separate not-for-profit organisation that has emerged from the FTAANZ.
See also the Law Students for Fair Trade project - an independent initiative linked to Hooked.
Hooked is a not-for-profit organisation, set up in Australia in 2005, to network and facilitate student activism in support of fair trade.
The FTAANZ works closely with Hooked as part of its strategy for mobilising fair trade support from universities in Australia and New Zealand.
To read more about what is happening with Hooked, check out the RSS feed from their website in the block to the right, or go to their website www.hooked.org.au.
Hooked organisedg the first student fair trade conference for ANZ to coincide with Fair Trade Fortnight 2006. See the flyer below and go to http://conference.hooked.org.au for more info.
