The Fair Trade Association of Austalia and New Zealand (Fair Trade Association) is the peak regional body for fair trade. 

Why not join the association and become part of this growing movement?

You can join the association as a member with full voting rights, as a friend with many member benefits but without voting rights, or you can simply subscribe to our mailing list (on the right) for newsletters and occasional news and events mailouts.

Become a member
Membership of the Fair Trade Association gives you opportunities to network with other individuals and organisations involved in Fair Trade in Australia and New Zealand. The Fair Trade Association is responsive to its members in helping them to access and promote fair trade products in Australia and New Zealand, and provides opportunities for traders to participate in Fair Trade Fiestas and other events.

Joining the Fair Trade Association also gives you an active voice in the development and future direction of fair trade activities in Australia, New Zealand and the region through the Annual General Meeting, general meetings with members, and opportunities to serve on the Executive Committee and various workshops, working groups and sub-committees.

Become a friend
An alternative to becoming a full member is for businesses and other organisations  to be less involved but still have access to information and networking opportunities is to become a friend.

This is also a great way for individuals to become involved and be part of the full mailing lists and receive most of the other benefits of being a member, except without voting rights.
