Over 200 Dunedin residents turned out this morning in front of the Cadbury factory to show their support for the company’s decision to bring Fairtrade certification to the flagship Cadbury’s Dairy Milk block by early 2010.
Flowers covered the entrance of the factory, with residents also handing flowers to Cadbury employees as they turned up for work, holding up signs of support for Cadbury and handing them personal messages of thanks.
Fairtrade Australia & New Zealand has revealed a historic plan for Australia and New Zealand’s favourite chocolate Cadbury Dairy Milk® to achieve Fairtrade Certification by Easter 2010.

The Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand was excited to attend and support GPP - and provide a stall to inform those who attended how they can tackle poverty every time they buy a fair trade product.
Now GPP heads off to other parts of Australia, and then around the world.
