Venue: Our VIP launch will be Thurs 18th March at Distill Health Cocktail Bar 286 Rundle St from 5:30 till 8pm (official launch at 6:15). Attendees will be treated to tastings of Fair Trade foods, goody bags full of Fair Trade Info and samples and get to network and celebrate with Fair Trade stockists, wholesalers, roasters, supporters, local councilors and Non Government Organisation staff, such as Oxfam, as well as the SA Fair Trade team. We are also bringing Fair Trade Fortnight to Adelaide this year, from 1st to 16th May 2010. During Fair Trade Fortnight 2010 we are coordinating a two week long campaign, including, among other things:  Launch of Adelaide City Council as the State’s first Fair Trade certified Council  Prominent stall located in the central shopping district of Rundle Mall, and the popular East End precinct  In-store promotions and displays in Fair-trade stockists  Heavy promotion via the Adelaide University student and staff network  Wide distribution of Fair Trade samples and ‘where to buy’ lists The Campaign is specifically tailored to reach wholesalers, retailers and consumers from all age groups and demographics.
