Fairly Educated Conference 2014
The Fair Trade Association was proud to support the recent Fairly Educated Conference at the University of Queensland.
Fairly Educated is a not for profit initiative that aims to unite university Fair Trade movements across the globe. Fairly Educated's annual conference is a platform for tertiary Fair Trade campaigns all around the world to share their resources and experiences in order to further the Fair trade movement.
The Fair Trade Association's Executive Director Chris Hartley provided one of the key note addresses for the conference, focusing on how students can work towards achieving Fair Trade accreditation at their university. Network and Services Officers Kitty Weier and Karen Yung also provided conference delegates with presentations focused on growing the Fair Trade University Movement.
The Fair Trade Association would like to congratulate the Fairly Educated Co-coordinators (Bec Taylor and Helen Bush) and the UQ Conference team on successfully running this great event.
